Why choose the Darimar Martial Arts After School Program?

Darimar Martial Arts believes that the safety and well being of our community and it's children are very important and therefore is introducing an after school program that will provide children with the tools and abilities they need to be successful in life. The staff at Darimar Martial Arts believes that an after school program will provide the right supervision and activities to challenge your child.

We strive to provide 3 main things in our after school program: keeping the kids safe during after school hours, helping to improve kids academic achievements at school, and involving the kids in supervised constructive activities such as Tae Kwon Do training.

The after school program has a wide variety of activities designed to meet the needs of children, enrich their experiences and assist them in achieving academic success. We put a lot of emphasis on physical activities during after school program. Darimar Martial Arts training offers everything that a young body requires to stay physically and mentally challenged. A workout led by our instructors will prepare your child to go back home and enjoy quality family time.

While studying Tae Kwon Do at Darimar, children will learn about self-discipline, respect, and loyalty. Staff members will teach students to manage their behavior and handle stressful situations; like how to defeat the bully without fighting and increase his or her awareness of their surroundings. Through the belt ranking system, you can watch as your child develops the "Yes, I Can!" attitude and observe as it carries over into school, work, home, as well as other sports. This is not a daycare...we build champions from the inside to out.

After school programs such as these can cost as much as $80~$100 per week. Then, if the parents want the child to attend a Martial Arts school, they pay more for this as well. Darimar after school program provides a practical and economical alternative to daycare, extended day care, or babysitting; with the benefits of Martial Arts training.

We transport from the schools 5 days a week; 2, 3 and 4 day rates are also available as well. The program has been designed to assist parents with the tough job of giving your child the tools and skills needed to overcome their daily obstacles.

Our pickup route is based on school demand, so please register early to ensure that your school is included.

How it works

Darimar Martial Arts will pick up your child from school in our fully marked and properly insured vehicles. The After School Program will include 50 minutes of Martial Arts training each day. Students will achieve Tae Kwon Do rank belts as they develop valuable skills. Darimar will also provide a healthy snack daily and children will have a supervised homework and study session. Darimar's staff will assist students as needed with homework. Students who do not have homework are assigned appropriate exercise to help maintain a successful routine. We ARE NOT a daycare! We are a professional martial arts facility and our focus is on Martial Arts. Children are available for pickup anytime from 5:10pm to 6:00pm.

Who can attend?

All children from Kindergarten to 8th grade. If your child does not attend a school on our pickup route they may still be dropped off so they can attend the program.

Getting Enrolled

Our program is set up on the entire school year or a yearly basis so that when your child signs up, we have that spot set aside for them for the whole school year. However, we do accept students into the after school program throughout the school year as space becomes available.

• Registration fee: $75 only for new students, which includes a uniform.
• School year program: 9 monthly payment
  5 days a week $400per month
  4 days a week $350 per month
  3 days a week $300 per month
  2 days a week $250 per month
• 1 year program: $450 per month. 5 days a week only. This program will include 11 week long all day summer camp with field trips & supplies.
• 10% discount for siblings.
